Jarrett earned his undergraduate degree in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business in 2020, followed by an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business in 2025. His education provided a strong foundation in taxation, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

In December 2025, Jarrett obtained his Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) from the IRS, authorizing him to prepare and electronically file federal tax returns. He founded Sharper Image Tax Services to offer straightforward, affordable tax preparation for individuals with standard W-2 income, freelance work, and common deductions.

Before launching SITS, Jarrett gained extensive experience in financial services, including work with CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals and hands-on client management. This background gives him a practical understanding of how taxes fit into broader financial planning — without the complexity or cost of full financial advisory services.
