For individual returns, our maximum fee is $600*, no matter how complex within our scope of service. Business returns are capped at $600* for filings in up to two states, plus $25 for each additional state. Simple returns are priced well below that.

Yes, if you file after your return's original filing deadline without an extension, a 25% rush surcharge applies through October 15. Original deadlines are March 15 for partnership and S-corp returns, and April 15 for individual and C-corp returns (calendar-year filers). If you've already filed an extension, that surcharge does not apply and you pay the base rate. Booking between October 16 and December 31 for the upcoming season instead gets you a 10% early-bird discount.

We prepare individual returns (W-2 income, 1099 and freelance income, single-member LLCs reported on Schedule C, investment income, itemized deductions, and tax credits) and business returns for partnerships (Form 1065), S-corps (Form 1120-S), and C-corps (Form 1120). We do not prepare estate or trust returns.

Yes. All of our tax preparers hold valid Preparer Tax Identification Numbers (PTINs) issued by the IRS and comply fully with IRS Circular 230 requirements. With the exception of Shannon Faulkner, CPA, our tax preparers are not CPAs or enrolled agents, and we are not registered investment advisers.

Simple Return is $150 (typically single W-2 income). Standard Return is $300 (multiple income sources, moderate complexity). Complex Return is $600, our maximum fee* regardless of how complex your situation is within our scope. All three prices are base rates before any seasonal adjustment.
