Estimate federal and state income tax for a C-corporation (Form 1120), using the flat 21% federal rate plus your state's top corporate rate.
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Built for C-corporations only, taxed under the flat 21.0% federal corporate rate in effect since the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (no brackets). Partnerships, S-corps, and sole proprietorships pass income through to the owners' individual returns instead. This estimator does not model the corporate Alternative Minimum Tax, multi-state income apportionment, the accumulated earnings tax, depreciation elections (Section 179 or bonus depreciation), net operating loss carryforwards, or tax credits. State figures use each state's top marginal corporate rate applied flat to all taxable income, even in the roughly dozen states with graduated brackets, which overstates the state tax for a smaller corporation in those states. States with no corporate income tax may still levy a separate gross receipts or franchise tax, not modeled here.
